Dell's Dad's Potato Salad

I am a wife, mother, and grandmother. I love to cook. I have Multiple Sclerosis. I am also known as the Snack Lady at Vacation Bible School.

3 pounds potatoes

1 large sweet onion

6 hard-boiled eggs

⅔ to ¾ bottle of Miracle Whip Salad Dressing

Large gob of mustard

Pound of crispy bacon

⅓ to ½ cup sugar

2 to 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

Salt/pepper to taste

4 to 6 heaping tablespoon of bacon grease

I do this entire thing to taste, so these are all about measurements. The more bacon grease you use, to a degree, the better as it makes it thicker. I have been making this since I was a kid. Don’t know exactly what it would measure out at, but this gets you close.
