AF fried chicken

  1. The easiest way I found to do mine, is roll in flour, dip in egg thinned with a little water, then roll in flour, bread crumbs, or whatever you like. Mist with olive oil to wet the topping. Put in air fryer, not sure exact temp. I just used the setting for chicken, I think it was 360 degrees, turn over every so often until done. I think it was about 25 minutes. I have seen where others say to do the flour, egg, flour and put in refrigerator for about 30 minutes, then spray with oil and put in air fryer. They said that helps keep the crust on. I didn't have trouble with mine coming off without doing that, but will try it next time to see if it makes a difference. Put chicken in in single layer, do not stack. You may have to adjust temp. up or down but you should be able to tell that by looking at how it is cooking and browning. It is mostly trial and error until you get used to your air fryer.
