Ingredients
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small yellow onion - diced
  • ½ large green pepper - diced
  • 2 large cloves of garlic - minced
  • 1 and ½ lb ground beef (I use lean)
  • ½ tsp adobo seasoning (if you don't have this...go out and get some asap!! It's the best)
  • 1 8 ounce can of tomato sauce
  • subheading: 3 tbsp tomato paste:
  • ¼ cup white wine
  • ¼ cup pimento stuffed olives plus 1 tbsp of the brine from the jar (I just slice my olives in half but you can leave them hole or dice them finely)
  • ¼ tsp cumin
  • ¼ tsp sugar
