Turkish Lamb Shish Kebab from Gaziantep
Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp Turkish chili paste (acı biber salçası) or sweet pepper paste (tatlı biber salçası)
  • 0.5 tbsp tomato paste
  • 0.5 tbsp Aleppo pepper (pul biber)
  • 1 clove of garlic, crushed to a paste with a little salt (optional)
  • water
  • 1 kg lamb meat, cut into 3 to 4 cm cubes
  • 2 tomates, cut into 4 wedges
  • 2 onions, cut into 4 wedges
  • 8 long, green Turkish peppers or 2 red romano peppers, cut into 4
