  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 ( 8.5 to 8.8- ounce) package microwavable white rice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill and/or parsley, plus more for garnish
