Ingredients
  • 1 large white onion, chopped (about 2 cups)

  • 12 oz tomatillos, husks removed, tomatillos rinsed (about 6 tomatillos)
  • 2 cups fire roasted green chiles, including liquid (4 four oz cans)
  • 1 cup chicken broth (use gluten free broth for a gluten free sauce)
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • ¼ cup cilantro, chopped
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt to taste
