  • ½ cup chopped pecans optional, plus more for topping
  • subheading: For cashew cream frosting:
  • 2 cups raw cashews soaked in hot water for 15 to 30 minutes
  • ⅓ cup canned coconut milk or ¼ cup unsweetened non-dairy milk of choice
  • ⅓ cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
