CHEAT DOUGHNUTS
Ingredients
  • 1 Can of Biscuits (the spring loaded kind)
  • ¼ Cup Oil for Frying (vegetable oil is good)
  • 1 Cup of Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Cinnamon
Steps
  1. These Cheat Doughnuts are the perfect thing when you want a hot dessert after a long day hiking and exploring. First put some Oil in a skillet and get it hot. While that's happening you want to pop out your biscuits and cut holes out of them so they look like doughnuts. If you want, you can fry these holes up after you finish your doughnuts so you're not wasting anything.
  2. Next slide the biscuits in the Oil and let them cook until the bottom is golden and delicious, usually around 2 or 3 minutes. Try not to the move the biscuits around too much as they fry because they can get sticky. Flip them and continue cooking them until done, usually another 3 minutes.
  3. After they are done, remove them from the Oil and let them drain for 30 seconds on a paper towel. Once they are drained add the Sugar and the Cinnamon to a paper bag. Place the Doughnuts in the bag and give it shake. Now you have delicious and sweet Doughnuts that took less than 10 minutes to make. That's what I call an easy camping meal!
