Mom's Banana Bread
Banana Bread

Servings: 1 4 by 8 inch loaf

Servings: 1 4 by 8 inch loaf
Ingredients
  • 3 to 4 ripe banana
  • ⅓ cup melted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 ½ cup flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • Chocolate chips (optional)
Steps
  1. In large bowl, mix butter into mashed bananas.
  2. Mix in sugar, egg, and vanilla.
  3. Sprinkle baking soda and salt over batter and mix in.
  4. Fold in flour.
  5. Pour into buttered 4 x 8 inch loaf pan.
  6. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
Notes
  • Add chocolate chips if desired.
