Homemade Pak Choi

Ingredients
- subheading: Pak choi:
- 300g pak choi
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cooking oil
- subheading: Sauce:
- ½ tomato
- 2 garlic cloves
- ½ onion
- 1 slice of ginger
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch dissolved in 200ml water
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon black vinegar
- 1 teaspoon dark soy sauce
- ½ teaspoon salt
- pinch of pepper
Steps
- Cut the onion, garlic and ginger
- Heat up the cooking oil on high heat
- Add onion, garlic and ginger, set heat to medium and cook until it changes color
- Add tomato and cook for short while
- Add cornstarch and 200ml water, stir well and set heat back to high.
- Once it boils, turn heat down to medium.
- Add soy sauce, dark soy sauce, vinegar, salt and pinch of pepper. Set sauce aside.
- Boil a pot of water and add 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp cooking oil. Flash boil plucked pak choi leaves for 30 seconds.
- Plate it nicely and pour the sauce on top of it with a spoon.
