Vegan Almond Butter Cake with Chocolate Frosting
Ingredients
  • 1 ½ cups (192g) whole wheat pastry flour
  • 3 tablespoons (24g) cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon fine salt
  • ½ cup + 2 tablespoons (200g) pure maple syrup
  • ½ cup (128g) roasted super creamy almond butter (SEE POST!)
  • ¾ cup (180g) almond milk, shaken first
  • 2 teaspoons (10g) vanilla extract

  • 1 cup (240g) dairy-free semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup (120g) almond milk or coconut milk for a richer frosting
