Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb pork sausage
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons cumin, ground
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons cocoa powder
  • 2 (14 ounce) cans kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 (10 ounce) can French onion soup
  • 1 cup Coca Cola
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
Steps
  1. Push the sauté button on the IP until it shows "normal" then wait for the metal insert to heat up.
  2. Once the insert is hot, brown the ground beef & sausage along with the salt in the oil.
  3. Drain the meat and return to the IP. Add chili powder, cumin, Black pepper and cocoa powder. Stir.
  4. Layer remaining ingredients in order on top of meat: beans, tomato paste, tomato sauce, French onion soup, Coca Cola. DO NOT STIR!
  5. Cook on manual for 10 minutes.
  6. When the chili is finished cooking, do a QR.
