Gnocchi with sausage garlic and onions.
Ingredients
  • 1 package Gnocchi
  • Half pound or half long link sausage
  • 4 slices bacon or 4 ounces pancetta
  • 1 large onion sliced fine
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • A few ounces of white wine
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 Can petite diced tomatoes
  • Gnocchi cooking liquid
  • Heavy cream
Steps
  1. Add sausage to EVOO and crumble up
  2. Add bacon or pancetta and cook together with sauasage
  3. Add garlic and onion and cook til soft
  4. Add wine and cook out
  5. Remove everything from pan
  6. Add more oil and add cooked gnocchi until lightly browned
  7. Add everything back to pan and add can of tomatoes
  8. Cook down until liquid has evaoprated
  9. Add heavy cream and some cooking water to make a sauce
  10. Season to taste
