  • Water (for cooking pork belly)
  • 4 boiled eggs
  • Shichimi Togarashi (Japanese seven spice) (for taste, optional)

  • ¼ cup sake (¼ cup = 60 ml)
  • ½ cup water (½ cup = 120 ml)
  • ½ cup mirin (½ cup = 120 ml)
  • ½ cup soy sauce (½ cup = 120 ml)
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar (¼ cup = 50 g)
