Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice (1 to 2 lemons)
  • 1⁄4 cup water
  • 6 tablespoons tahini
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, plus extra for drizzling
  • 14 ounces chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 1 garlic clove (minced or pressed through garlic press ½ teaspoon)
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro or 1 tablespoon fresh parsley leaves, minced
