1 tablespoon baking powder

¾ teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

2 sticks (1 cup) unsalted butter, softened

2 cups sugar

4 large eggs at room temperature

2 teaspoons vanilla

2 cups sour cream

Chocolate sour cream frosting

Garnish: brown sugar buttercream
