Ridiculously Easy Peanut Butter Texas Sheet Cake
This is an easier microwave version of prepping this cake. It was super easy to put together and cleanup was a breeze since it only used one bowl! The proof is in the pudding and I’ll taste it and review again.
Ingredients
  • subheading: Cake:
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup butter, 2 sticks
  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup buttermilk
  • subheading: Icing:
  • ½ cup butter, 1 stick
  • ¼ cup creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup dark brown sugar (I used regular brown sugar)
  • 4 to 6 Tbsp buttermilk (or half and half or milk) (I used 5 Tbsp)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3½ to 4 cups powdered sugar (I used 3½ cups)
