Ridiculously Easy Peanut Butter Texas Sheet Cake

This is an easier microwave version of prepping this cake. It was super easy to put together and cleanup was a breeze since it only used one bowl! The proof is in the pudding and I’ll taste it and review again.

1 cup water

1 cup butter, 2 sticks

½ cup peanut butter

2 cups sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 large eggs

1 tsp baking soda

¼ tsp salt

2 cups all-purpose flour

½ cup buttermilk

subheading: Icing:

½ cup butter, 1 stick

¼ cup creamy peanut butter

½ cup dark brown sugar (I used regular brown sugar)

4 to 6 Tbsp buttermilk (or half and half or milk) (I used 5 Tbsp)

1 tsp vanilla extract

3½ to 4 cups powdered sugar (I used 3½ cups)
