- 2 Tbsp caramel sauce or dulce de leche
- 1 large egg, at room temperature
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup regular rolled oats
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp flaked sea salt, plus extra for sprinkling
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- ½ cup salted caramel chips (see notes)
