Em's Turkey-Beef Meatballs
Servings: 32
Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 Tbl chia seeds or 2 Tbl ground flax seed
  • 1 c shredded zucchini
  • 1c shredded carrots
  • 1 small onion, diced, or 1/2 tsp onion powder or 2 Tbl dehydrated onions
  • 3/4 c rolled oats
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 3 Tbl mustard
  • 8 oz tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning herb blend
Steps
  1. Mix all ingredients together.
  2. Form into 32 balls.
  3. Bake 15-20 minutes at 350°.
Notes
  • For paleo version, remove rolled oats and be sure mustard and tomato sauce don't have added sugar.
