Pie Crust (Shortcrust Pastry)
Ingredients
  • 1 ¼ cups flour (plain / all purpose flour)
  • 2 tsp white sugar (skip if making savoury pie)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 115g / 8 tbsp unsalted butter , cold, cut into 1cm/ ⅓" cubes (Note 1)
  • 2 ½ tbsp ice cold water ( more as required)
