Ingredients
- Coconut Oil - 3 Tbsp.
- Baby Bath Wash/Shampoo - 1 Tbsp.
- Water - 2 Cups
- Tea Tree Oil - ¼ tsp (optional)
- Cotton Rounds
- A mason jar
Steps
- If your coconut oil is solid, microwave it to melt it down into a liquid. Stir all of the ingredients together until they’re well blended.
- Then, place dry cotton rounds into your jar until it’s about ¾ of the way full. Pour in enough of your makeup remover mixture to cover the cotton rounds. They should absorb the liquid quickly and expand. If there is still extra room left in the jar, feel free to add more cotton rounds and more of the makeup remover mixture until the jar is full. Press down on the cotton rounds and release to make sure they absorb as much liquid as possible.
- If you’re using a wider jar and there is extra liquid in the jar, go ahead and drain it out.
Notes
- Note: Tea Tree Oil provides a great fresh scent and is believed to help clear up acne. But feel free to leave it out of the recipe or substitute it with your favorite essential oil for beauty DIYs!
