Crockpot cornbread dressing
Ingredients
  • 6 cups cornbread (cooked)
  • 8 slices day old bread
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 med onion chopped
  • ½ cup celery chopped
  • 1½ Tbs sage or poultry seasoning
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 (10.5 oz) cans cream of chicken soup
  • 2 (10.5 oz) cans chicken broth
  • ¼ cup butter
  • Salt
Steps
  1. Lay bread out night before so it will dry.
  2. Crumble bread and cornbread.
  3. Combine all ingredients besides butter. Salt to taste.
  4. Pour into greased crock pot,dot with butter.
  5. Cover and cook on high for 2 hours or low for 4 hours.
