  • 1 and ½ teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour, plus more as needed for rolling
  • optional: coarse sugar for topping

  • ½ cup (120ml) heavy cream
  • 4-ounce semi-sweet chocolate bar (113g), finely chopped
