- 1 small yellow onion, finely chopped

- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 13.5 oz (~3 cups) all purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1¼ cups blue cheese crumbles
- 1 (12 oz) bottle lager (cheap beer works well, don’t waste expensive beer)
- cooking spray (I like to use this non-aerosol EVO sprayer)
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
