  • 1 cup (220 grams) firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 2 cups (250 grams) all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup (21 grams) unsweetened cocoa powder, sifted
  • 1½ teaspoons (4.5 grams) kosher salt
  • 6 large eggs (300 grams), room temperature and lightly beaten
  • 1 tablespoon (13 grams) vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons (30 grams) red liquid food coloring*
