Ingredients
- 6 spears thick French White Asparagus
Steps
- Cut off the lower 8cm (3 inches).
- Strip the outer skin of the stems below the head stem bottom using potato peeler from.
- Rince and place in pressure cooker adding water to just to cover the asparagus. You can (optionally) add the juice of ½ if desired.
- Secure for pressure cooking, bringing to max pressure for 3 minutes. Turning off and letting natural release. Test with a knife point to make sure asparagus is cooked through.
- Remove the asparagus from the water and let cool and dry for 5 minutes. Pour off any excess water
- Prepare the asparagus for your preferred serving style.
