Lamb Palak / Saag Gosht (Lamb and Spinach Curry)
Ingredients
  • 2 bunches spinach
  • 2 lb lamb
  • 2 tablespoon ghee (use store-bought or homemade ghee)
  • 1 large onion finely chopped
  • 1 large tomato finely chopped
  • ½ inch ginger grated
  • 5 to 6 cloves garlic grated or finely chopped
  • 1 to 2 green chili finely chopped (adjust as per taste)
  • 1 tablespoon kasuri methi
  • ¾ to 1 teaspoon salt (adjust as per taste)
  • subheading: Spices:
  • ½ teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 black cardamom
  • 2 to 3 cloves
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder (or cayenne)
  • 1 teaspoon amchur
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala (use store-bought or homemade garam masala)
