Beef Taco Soup

Ingredients
  • 1 Pounds Lean Ground Beef, Browned
  • 1 Pound Lean ground turkey
  • 15 Ounce Tomato Sauce
  • 1 Onion, Chopped
  • ½ Cups Water
  • 3 to 16 Oz Cans Beans, rinsed and drained
  • 4.5 Oz can Green Chilies, Chopped, optional
  • 16 Ounce Corn, Canned, Undrained
  • 1 Pkg Taco Seasoning Mix
  • 16 Ounce Chopped Tomatoes, Canned
  • 1 Envelope Hidden Valley Ranch -Original, Dry Salad Dressing Mix
Steps
  1. Cook beef and onion until beef is browned; drain.
  2. Mix beef and onion with other ingredients in a large pan. Bring mixture to a boil; reduce heat and let simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. Makes 3 ½ quarts of soup.
  4. This soup freezes well and can be kept in freezer for up to 3 months.
Notes
  • 04 to 28-18 Mark made this using all ground turkey. Delicious!
  • We used pinto beans, RoTel tomatoes, and omitted the green chilies.
