1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt ½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. vanilla
½ c. margarine ½ c. margarine
⅓ c. peanut butter ⅓ c. peanut butter
½ c. sugar ½ c. sugar
½ c. brown sugar (plus some extra, separately) ½ c. brown sugar (plus some extra, separately)

Sift flour, baking soda, salt, set aside.
Cream butter, peanut butter, and sugars.
Add egg and vanilla.
Combine with dry ingredients.
Roll into 1" balls.
Roll balls in extra sugar.
Place on greased cookie sheet.
Bake 375°F for 6 minutes.
Remove and add kisses. Press firmly.
Bake until golden (about 2 minutes)
