Peachy Pork

Ingredients
  • 6 pork chops/steaks
  • 1 T coconut oil or ghee
  • 1½ tspns basil
  • ½ tspn salt
  • ½ tspn garlic
  • ¼ tspn pepper
  • 2 to 3 peaches, peeled and sliced thin
  • 2 T apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tspn maple syrup
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • ½ cup cold water
  • 2 T arrowroot powder
Steps
  1. Brown chops in skillet with oil or ghee; sprinkle with salt, pepper, basil and garlic.
  2. Place sliced peaches in bottom of crockpot and place chops on top.
  3. Mix cider vinegar with maple syrup and broth. Pour on top of chops.
  4. Cook on high 4 to 6 hours or low 8 hours.
  5. Mix cold water with arrowroot. Remove juice from crockpot and mix in. Heat over stove until thickened. Pour back over chops.
  6. Serve with hot cooked rice or cauliflower rice.
