Crispy Brussels Sprouts with Bacon and Creamy Mustard Sauce
Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Steps
  1. Roast Brussels sprouts: Toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 20 to 25 minutes, or until crispy.
  2. Cook bacon: Cook the bacon until crispy and crumble.
  3. Make creamy mustard sauce: In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, honey, and lemon juice. Stir well.
  4. Assemble: Toss the roasted Brussels sprouts with the cooked bacon and creamy mustard sauce.
  5. Serve: Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
  • For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the creamy mustard sauce.
  • You can substitute the bacon with pancetta or prosciutto.
