Baguette
Ingredients
  • 8 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 ½ tabs active dry yeast
  • 6Tbsp olive oil
  • 3 Tbs sugar
  • 4tsp salt
  • About 1 ½ cup warm water

  • I used half of the recipe. I added more water too.
  •  
  • Method same as bread.
  • Baking is different. You use a high temp. of 450 F. Please a bowl of water in it to prevent the bread from drying. Bake for 5 min, lower temp. to 390 and continue baking for another 20 mins. I must say individual oven, temp. is not the same. I used mine at 185 C. Cooking time is 15 to 18 mins.
