Non-Sourdough Low-Knead 'Sourdough' Bread
Ingredients
  • 400g strong white bread flour - I use the Sainsbury’s basic one
  • 150g rye flour - I’m using the Bacheldre organic stoneground rye flour
  • 150g wholemeal flour - I’m using the Bacheldre organic stoneground strong wholemeal
  • 430ml water - slightly warm is best
  • 1 packet of fast action dried yeast (equivalent of 7g) - I use the Sainsbury’s ones
  • a teaspoon salt - I use Cornish Sea Salt
  • 1 teaspoon extra version olive oil
  •  
  • You will also need a large bowl, (or a large plastic container with a lid which is my new favourite way to do it) more olive oil and some baking parchment.
