Crock Pot, Pot Roast
Ingredients
  • 1 Chuck Roast
  •
  • 32 oz or 4 cups of water
  •
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  •
  • 1 to 2 tbsp minced garlic
  •
  • 3 to 5 carrots
  •
  • 3 to 5 Potatoes
  •
  • 1 onion diced (yellow or white best)
  •
  • 1 stick of butter or 8 tbsp
  •
  • 1 packet of McCormick au Ju gravy
  •
  • 1 packet of McCormick Beef Stew mix
  •
  • 1 packet of hidden valley ranch mix or 1 packet of McCormick brown gravy mix
  •
  • 1 jar of Peperoncino optionally if wanted
Steps
  1. Season Chuck roast the nice before and let sit in fridge if wanted
  2. Peel and cut up carrots
  3. Dice the onion
  4. Peel (if wanted) and cut the potatoes
  5. mince garlic if using fresh or get out jar of garlic
  6. Put in the carrots, onions, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce (also the Peperoncino if you are using) into crock pot
  7. Now add the water and the 3 seasoning packets and mix together well
  8. Now add the roast and stick of butter to crock pot
  9. Put on high setting for 8 to 10 hrs
  10. After about 5 to 6 hrs go back and add the potatoes and keep on high for 2 to 4 more hrs
  11. Now pull your roast apart while still in crock pot should be more than tender enough. I like more of a pulled pork consistence or you can do chunks whatever you like
