The Life-Changing Loaf with Pistachios, Dried Cherries, and Cardamom
Ingredients
  • 1½ cups (145 grams) rolled oats (for those with gluten sensitivities, make sure to use certified gluten-free oats)
  • 1 cup (135 grams) raw hulled sunflower seeds
  • ½ cup (90 grams) flaxseeds
  • ½ cup (70 grams) dry-roasted salted pistachios, roughly chopped
  • ⅓ cup (40 grams) dried cherries, roughly chopped
  • 4 tablespoons psyllium seed husks (3 tablespoons if using psyllium husk powder)
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1½ teaspoons ground cardamom
  • 1 teaspoon fine-grain sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1½ cups (350 milliliters) filtered water
  • 3 tablespoons expeller-pressed coconut oil or ghee, melted
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup (optional)
