  • 3 Bell Peppers rinsed, stems, ribs, and seeds removed. Slice in half or keep whole

  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley (plus more for garnish)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh chopped oregano
  • ¼ cup chopped red onion
  • 1 cup cooked white rice (*can substitute brown rice)
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (*plus extra cheddar cheese for topping)
  • ¼ cup fresh shredded parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup panko bread crumbs (*optional)
  • 1 whole egg
  • ½ Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (*optional)
  • 2 Tablespoons heavy cream (or milk substitute)
  • subheading: FOR THE SAUCE:
  • 28 oz can of tomato sauce
  • ¼ cup chicken broth (*can substitute beef broth)
  • 1 Tablespoon brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic salt
  • ¼ teaspoon onion salt
  • Lightly salt & pepper to taste
