Philadelphia NY Style Cheesecake
Sour Cream Topped
Ingredients
  • 1½ c graham cracker crumbs
  • ¼ C melted butter
  • 1½ c sugar, divided
  • 4 8oz packages cream cheese, softened
  • 2 t vanilla
  • 16 oz sour cream, divided
  • 4 eggs, room temperature
  • 2c fresh blackberries or strawberries or your choice
Steps
  1. Heat oven to 325
  2. Line a 9x13 with foil with ends over sides
  3. Combine crumbs, sugar and melted butter and press into foiled pan. Set aside
  4. * Beat cream cheese, 1c sugar, 1 t vanilla until well blended.  Add 1 c sour cream and blend well.  Add eggs one at a time combining on low speed just until blended.  Pour onto crumbs evenly.
  5. * Bake for 40 min until almost set.
  6. * Mix together 1c sour cream with remaining ¼c sugar and vanilla and spread over cheesecake.  Bake 10 min.  Refrigerate 3 hours.
  7. * use foil to lift out of pan prior to cutting.
  8. * Toss fruit with sugar and spoon over cheesecake
