Ingredients
  • 1 1/ 2 pound Yukon gold potatoes (See Note)
  • 6 tablespoons hot milk
  • 1/ 4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/ 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/ 8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Gruyere or other Swiss cheese
  • 2 scallions, thinly sliced
