Copycat Vegan Version of Bonefish Grill's Bang Bang “Shrimp”
Ingredients
  • 4 to 6 King Oyster Mushrooms
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or other plant-based milk)
  • 1 ½ tbsp of lemon juice
  • 1 ½ cups of whole wheat (or all-purpose) flour
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1 tsp of black pepper
  • 1 cup of JUST Egg (or other vegan egg substitute)
  • 2 cups of Panko breadcrumbs
  • 4 tbsp of corn starch
  • Bang Bang Sauce
  • 8 tbsp of plant-based vegan mayo (or substitute with the silken tofu "mayo" recipe linked in the post)
  • 3 tbsp of Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 4 tsp of sriracha
  • 2 ½ tsp of seasoned rice wine vinegar

  • 2 cups of shredded green cabbage
  • 2 green onions
