Soft and Chewy High Altitude Snickerdoodles
Ingredients
  • 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup (216g) granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp (20g) dark brown sugar
  • 2 (110g) large eggs
  • 2 tsp (8g) vanilla extract
  • 3 ¼ cups (422g) all-purpose flour, spooned and leveled
  • 1 tbsp (8g) corn starch
  • 2 tsp (10g) cream of tartar
  • ¾ tsp (3.75g) baking soda
  • ¾ tsp coarse Kosher salt (if using table salt, use half the amount)
  • ¼ cup cinnamon sugar (¼ cup (54g) granulated sugar + 1 tsp ground cinnamon)
