Dried Falafel Mix
Ingredients
  • 2 cups chickpea flour
  • ½ cup cornmeal
  • 1 to 2 tsp salt (or less, if you like)
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
Steps
  1. Mix all ingredients together.
  2. Store in an airtight container at room temperature
  3. To make falafel, combine 2 parts mix with 1 part water
  4. Set aside for 1 hour or overnight to thicken
  5. Form balls and bake on lined baking sheet at 350F for 30 minutes on each side
