Ingredients
  • 3 lbs potatoes (red-skinned potatoes mash easily)
  • 4 cups vegetable broth or water
  • 2 to 15-oz cans of   northern beans (any white-colored bean will work)
  • optional, 2 tbsp   coconut oil
  • ΒΌ cup unsweetened plant-based milk
  • four cloves of garlic, peeled
  • 1 tsp pink Himalayan  sea salt or another salt, to taste
  • freshly ground black pepper, to taste
