Ingredients
  • subheading: For the dough:
  • 60 g Greek yogurt
  • 50 g self rising flour

  • 1 T granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  •  
  • subheading: Caramel Sauce:
  • 25 g coconut oil
  • 2 T maple syrup
  • 1 T almond butter
Steps
  1. subheading: Prepared microwave dish:
  2. Thoroughly coat the inside of the Anyday dish with cooking spray or grease with butter. Cut a piece of parchment paper the size of the bottom of the bowl, and place it inside the bowl. Mix dough ingredients. Divide into 8 pieces and roll into balls.
  3. Mix cinnamon and sugar. Roll dough balls in seasoning. Place in a microwave bowl.
  4. Mix caramel ingredients. Microwave for 30 seconds to a minute until thick and smooth. Pour over seasoned dough balls.
  5. (Microwave 1 ½ to 5 minutes at 50% power.)
  6. Cook uncovered in the microwave for 1 ½ to 3 minutes, or until the bread is bouncy to the touch and a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
  7. Allow to rest for 1 minute. Run a knife around the edges of the bowl to loosen. Place a flat serving plate on the bowl and carefully flip the vessel to unmold the monkey bread.
  8. Remove the parchment paper and allow to cool before cutting.
Notes
  • Self rising flour- 120 g ish
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
