  • 2 pears
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 ⅓ cups granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream

  • Remaining caramel from caramel pears
  • Fresh bay leaves
