My Banana Cream Pie

Ingredients
- 1qt half n half
- ¾ c sugar
- ¾ c cornstarch
- 3 T butter
- 3 egg yolks
- ¼t salt
- 1t vanilla
Steps
- Mix together sugar and cornstarch and salt and set aside.
- In a saucepan scald the half n half then pour in the sugar mixture stirring well. Stir until thickened over medium heat. Temper in the egg yolks and stir cooking about 1 more minute. Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla. Place Saran Wrap over top to prevent scab and cool.
