Easy Ginger Meatballs with Sesame Broccoli

  • 1 tbsp. sesame seeds
  • 2 tsp. toasted sesame oil
  • 2 c. beef broth
  • ¼ c. hoisin sauce
  • ¼ c. white wine vinegar or sherry vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. cornstarch
  • ⅓ c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 3 scallions, thinly sliced (white and green parts separated)
