Sesame Shrimp Noodles
Ingredients
  • 8 ounces uncooked spaghetti or 8 ounces linguine, broken in half
  • 1 lb shrimp or 6 chicken thighs
  • 1 tablespoon dark sesame oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  •  
  • 1 orange bell pepper
  •  
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, slice (or 16 ounces)
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1⁄4 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 cup reduced-sodium fat-free chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons sherry wine
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (we used around 1 to 1 ½ tablespoons)
  • 3⁄4 cup sliced green onion
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • all purpose seasoning (for your shrimp)
