Hot Buttered Rum Bread Pudding
Ingredients
  • 1 loaf of Challah or Brioche torn into pieces (or 6 large croissants)
  • 4 cups of milk (I used 2%)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1½ cups sugar (plus an additional cup for the sauce)
  • 2 teaspoons rum extract, divided
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • ½ cup of heavy whipping cream
