Ingredients
  • 3 cups milk
  • Aromatics: 1 onion slice, 1 bay leaf, 1 garlic clove, 1 small pinch of thyme
  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 3 tablespoons butter

  • 1 or 2 rounds fresh mozzarella cheese, halved and sliced (optional)
  • 1 cup fresh bread crumbs
