  • ½ cup ( 100g) packed light or dark brown sugar
  • 1 large egg, at room temperature
  • 1 and ⅔ cups (142 g) old-fashioned whole rolled oats (or quick oats)*
  • 1 cup (130 g) whole wheat flour ( spooned & leveled)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
